Alright, the big post! Best camera phones under 25000 rupees!
It’s the season of sales & many people are going to buy it. And I hope this article helps you! But when we make this post, the top 5 phones are very researched & brought to you after reasoning.
And we have a minimum criteria in terms of ranking like performance, battery, display & everything else. And if I talk about Best Smartphone Under 25K rupees, then I’ll tell you all the minimum criteria.
Criteria – The AnTuTu score should be around 5L or above!
Meaning there should be a minimum Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G & a lower SoC is not allowed! The smartphone should have a minimum 6GB RAM with 128GB storage! Camera setup should include a 48/64MP multi camera setup. It means it should have a minimum of 48MP multi camera setup.
And yes if you’re spending Rs 25000 on your new smartphone, then the phone should be 5G ready for sure! Let’s now talk about rankings!

Best Camera Phones Under 25000
I’ll talk about the #5 phone first, but this phone is ranked a little high if you want a good looking & a lightweight phone.
#5 Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G
It’s the 5G variant of the Mi 11 Lite, it’s a New Edition & comes with Qualcomm SD778 SoC.
It has 6GB RAM+128GB storage, a 4250mAh battery & 33W fast charging. The fingerprint sensor’s side mounted. And yes, it has a 6.55” FHD+ AMOLED screen too with 90Hz fast refresh rate!
If you look at all these specifications, then this phone definitely comes at #5.
Remember! These phones’ prices are around Rs 26-27K, but when you buy them online, you’ll get Rs 2-3K less during sales. But all phones that’ll be mentioned, will be under Rs 25K! Their MRPs are high but they’re generally under Rs 25K.
Yes friends, we here have the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE(New Edition), it’s not New Era, it’s New Edition! It’s the 5G variant of the already Mi 11 Lite 4G variant. But there are some very interesting things, especially the design! Let’s open the box!
Friends, there are a lot of things written on the box. It looks like the Oscar Award’s template. Unboxing – First off, there’s a case & some documentation. And what’s this? You get an adapter, a 3.5mm to USB Type C adapter. Meaning there’s no 3.5mm jack. There’s a good quality TPU case, it’s a bit hazy/milky, I’d say. It’s a nice case though & there’s documentation.
You get a 33W charger & Type C cable. Build Quality Friends, it’s really very slim when you pick it up. You’ll come to know immediately! Wow. OMG, it’s light as a feather & it’s really very thin.
When light falls on it, it looks like it’s sparkling like a diamond & hence its name is Diamond Dazzle. So this colour is understated with a satin finish. And this one is wow! There are many people who’d like this Diamond Dazzle for sure! Let’s put on the case & see.
Ports & Buttons – Below, there’s a sim card tray, a USB Type C, a microphone & a speaker grill!
On the right side, there’s a power on/off button below which doubles up as a fingerprint sensor and there’s a volume rocker above. Above, you get an IR Blaster as well as a noise cancelling microphone.
Ok, this is a hybrid sim card slot along with these 2 colours, there are 2 more colours available – Jazz Blue & Tuscany Coral.
So this one definitely fills that gap. Those who want a light phone, it’s very nice! It’s 6.81mm thin!
Display – It has an excellent 6.55” FHD+ display with 10 bit AMOLED display for the first time. Generally, the AMOLED panels in the midrange segment are 8 bit.
This has 10 bits, meaning you can see 1Billion colours on this display & it shows! The colours look good! You also get Dolby Vision support, HDR10+ support & on the front there’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection too.
Friends, I don’t really know its price when I’m unboxing it, but I think it’s going to be between Rs 20-25K(Around Rs 23-24K). So I’m looking at this phone from that perspective!
Performance – It comes on Qualcomm SD778 SoC which is a 5G processor & it’s new. I was actually surprised when I saw its AnTuTu score being near 5L! It’s around 4.95L. That’s serious power! And it’s based on 6Nm technology meaning, it’s a power efficient processor as well. We played heavy games like COD & BGMI on High settings & it worked flawlessly. Especially, the 240Hz touch sampling rate with 90Hz refresh rate creates a difference, including the processor. So overall gaming performance was very good!
I want to say 1-2 things about this processor. It supports DS+DS, meaning you can use 5G on both sim cards. Yes, it has a 12 band support so I’d say it’s future proof!
Battery – I thought it’d be 4000mAh or less, since it’s such a thin phone. But this one has got a 4250mAh battery with 33W fast charging which I think, under moderate usage will easily last you through the day. Even with moderate to heavy use, it should last for a day because it has a 6Nm processor which is power efficient so the battery will last longer.
Camera – It has a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor(Ultrawide) & a 5MP macro sensor. I’ve generally seen it since previous Xiaomi phones’ macro sensors are good. The 5MP macro sensor is quite good. In the left punch hole, you get a 20MP selfie sensor. There is no argument this is one of the best camera phones under 25000.
To talk about the Mi 11 Lite, it has a 16MP selfie sensor while this one has a 20MP selfie sensor. I’m showing you some photos on the screen, under normal lighting conditions, the colours are beautiful! The colours are very natural & especially the macro sensor is very good.
To talk about the camera app features, you get a Director’s Mode that has different presets where you can shoot & make your life easier by using different settings & different modes to shoot photos & videos.
OS UI – This is Xiaomi’s 1st phone that comes with MIUI 12.5 out-of-the box! So it’s the latest updated OS.
Which is obviously based on Android 11. You also get August’s security patch and we’ve already done a dedicated video on MIUI 12.5, so do check it out. I like 1 thing about the MIUI 12.5.
You can uninstall some core apps that you don’t want as well. That’s good, you get more control! This isn’t Mi, it’s become Xiaomi! So the brand name has changed. They’ve promised that you’ll get 3 years of Android updates & 4 years of security updates as well.
And you’ll also get a clean experience. In the small time that I’ve spent, I didn’t see any ads as these are my first impressions.
But I didn’t see too many ads, in fact none! And yes, there are Google apps like Google Dialer, Google Messages on this phone.
I like 2-3 features like there’s a Reading Mode, for less strain on your eyes at night. There’s a Sunlight Mode, meaning you can use your mobile phone in harsh sunlight after turning on the Sunlight Mode. It also has a 360 degree ambient mode so auto brightness will work flawlessly according to the light conditions.
Sensors – You get all sensors including Infrared sensor to use the phone like a remote. So lots of things are packed inside this lightweight body.
Connectivity – As I mentioned it’s 5G(DS+DS) on both sim cards, there’s dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi Calling support, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 & NFC too!
Multimedia – It’s the big highlight of this phone, it has a good big AMOLED screen, with good viewing angles. So I really like it. But it’s also got stereo speakers! And friends, this phone is Netflix certified, because it’s got DolbyVision where you can watch DolbyVision Netflix content, in higher quality so that’s good! So multimedia gets a big thumbs up!
Extra Features – You get IP53 certification which you don’t generally expect in the Rs 20-23K pricing, but it’s there.
Variants – There’s a 6GB+128GB base variant & you also get an 8GB+128GB variant.
There’s LPDDR4X RAM type & UFS 2.2 storage type. Friends, if you want a lightweight mid range phone, then I don’t think there’s any other choice than this!
It’s less than 160g, so the in hand feel is very good!
To talk about its performance, that was really surprising as the scores were nearly 5L!
Which is really good as it’s a 6Nm processor, it’s power efficient! So there’s not much to complain about this phone!
In fact, my first impressions with the device is that I actually liked this phone.
#4 Samsung Galaxy M52 5G
It’s also based on the Qualcomm SD778 & has 6GB RAM & 128GB storage. It has a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It has a 64MP+12MP+5MP, a triple camera setup. And has a 32MP selfie sensor. So the camera setup is good.
It’s price is Rs 25,999. But you can get it under Rs 25K & it’s definitely at #4.
And if you only want a samsung camera phone under 25000 rupees, then you should definitely look at this one.
The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G is here! This is the Samsung Galaxy M51’s successor which had a Monster 7000mAh battery but this is a lean & mean machine! I’ll tell you why, as it’s lean & mean too! We’ll open the box & I’ll tell you everything.
It’s light! It’s very light! I knew it was light as the M51 had a 7000mAh battery while this has a 5000mAh battery, which is also big but it’s still very light. We’ll talk about it. What else do we get in the box?
What’s here? Ok, there’s a sim card tool, some small documentation, then you have a USB Type C cable & only a 15W charger.
Build Quality – It has a squarish design & it’s slim! It’s very slim & there’s no case in the box which should’ve been there because it’s light as it has a plastic back.
It has a lovely in-hand feel! If you hold it in your hand, you’ll feel very good as it feels too light. It literally feels like a toy! And it’s a big phone by the way & not at all small. So it’s a big but light phone.
Let’s check its weight. I think it’ll be around 170-175g, yes it’s that light! I think 175g, let’s see. That’s exactly why I called it lean & mean! And the in-hand feel is good, it’s tall & thin. Like I said, it’s a nice in-hand feel.
Friends, to tell you, it has a squarish design with a 6.7″ screen which is big! The M51 was big, while this one’s small. There’s no case with this phone but we’re still going to drop it & see. I don’t know what’ll happen but it has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Nothing, absolutely nothing. Everything is perfect!
Ports & Buttons – Below, there’s a speaker grill, a USB Type C port & a microphone. On the left, there’s a sim card tray above. Above, there’s a noise cancelling microphone. On the right, you get a volume rocker & a power on/off button below that doubles up as a fingerprint sensor.
It’s an AMOLED screen but still you get a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
Let’s check the sim card tray. When the phones are black you don’t see the buttons very well. It’s a hybrid sim card slot. You can use 2 sim cards or 1 sim card & a SD card. Alright, we saw it from the outside, let’s look at it from the inside.
Display – As I guessed, the bezels are very thin & it has a center punch hole camera. The side side & upper bezels are thin & the chin is very small too. And that’s why this has a small form factor even with a 6.7” big screen. You also get 120Hz fast refresh rate with a sAMOLED screen. There’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection & it supports HDR10+.
Specifications – It comes with Qualcomm SD778G (5G) SoC, a 5000mAh battery & it comes in 2 variants – 6GB+128GB(Rs 29,999) & 8GB+128GB(Rs 31,999)
Friends, these are its prices but if you buy it now during sales, then the effective price comes around Rs 23-24K!(under Rs 25K). So that’s a great price! If you get it. The storage type is UFS 2.1 & the RAM type is LPDDR4X and the offers that I mentioned are limited time offers, their links are in the description. You’ll get it at Amazon’s Great Indian Festival. So take that advantage.
Performance – It’s AnTuTu score is above 5L as SD778G is a capable SoC. I’ve already tested 2-3 phones & I’ve started liking this processor!
If I talk about its gaming performance, you can play games on the highest Ultra-HD settings. And the games run very well. I really loved the gaming experience. The overall performance including swipes/touches are very nice.
Because the OS/UI on it is One UI 3.1 which is based on Android 11. Android 12 will come soon. There are some pre-installed apps but you get a clean experience overall. I like that. Friends, we talked to Samsung & it’s going to have virtual RAM. It’s not present on our unit but it’ll roll out soon! You can extend the RAM by 4GB. So 6GB will go up to 10GB.Alright, you get all the important features of One UI. Eg) Knox Security v3.7, Alt-Z – We’ve made a video on it, do check out!
It’s an excellent feature to have that’s included in here. There’s an interesting thing, it has a real-time Kernel protection feature so there’s security on hardware level as well! So you’re getting some of the most secure phones in this particular price range! And it has NFC, so you get Samsung Pay. So you can just touch & pay.
Camera – Cameras are very important. In comparison with the M51, it’s similar with 64MP+12MP+5MP triple camera setup. The 64MP is a primary sensor, the 12MP is an ultrawide sensor & 5MP is the macro sensor. I’m showing you some photos on the screen, it clicks good photos without any problems. On the front center punch hole, there’s a 32MP selfie sensor which brings out good skin tones. So it’s nice there. To talk about the camera app features, it has a single take feature where you can click once & you’ll get 8-10 different photos to choose from. If you’re very active on Instagram, then there are many filters. To talk about videos, you can shoot [email protected] videos on both front & back cameras. That’s quite good!
Sensors – All sensors are present in this phone. There’s a side mounted fingerprint sensor which works well. There’s face unlock too which works good!
Connectivity – You get connectivity options including 5G & it has 11 bands support! You get dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi calling support, Bluetooth 5.0 & dual band WiFi.
Multimedia – It’s an absolutely gorgeous screen with good viewing angles as it’s a big 6.7” screen. The phone isn’t that big but the video viewing experience is going to be excellent! It’s fun. To talk about audio, stereo speakers would’ve been great but the mono speakers are quite loud with good quality. So while stereo speakers aren’t present, the quality of audio is good. So overall multimedia experience would be good!
Other Features – You get Widevine L1 support so you can HD stream Netflix etc without any problems. There’s Camera2Api support, no notifications light, no FM Radio & no 3.5mm headphone jack as well!
Nowadays the 3.5mm is being added in other features. Because now 80-90% phones don’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack. It’s interesting, that’s changing!
So how did I find this phone? 2-3 things could’ve been included like stereo speakers(mono speaker audio is good too), so that’s ok. An in-display fingerprint sensor would’ve been great along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. And yes it has a 15W charging, at least a 25-30W fast charger should’ve been there.
So those are the downsides, but performance, display & cameras stand out and the feature that stands out the most is the in-hand feel, it’s a light weight phone & you’ll enjoy using it.Despite having a big screen it’s form factor isn’t that big so I like those positives!
Pricing – It’s price is Rs 29,999, but if you get it at Rs 23-24K in the sale, then I’d definitely say it’s a great deal! It’s a Samsung phone after all & it has many Samsung features as well! For that price, I think it’ll be very good!

#3 realme GT Master Edition
The M52 & others are seriously big & if you want a manageable phone that’s good in the hand & lightweight & want all other specifications to be the same under Rs 25K, then you can look at realme GT Master Edition.
It comes on Qualcomm SD778 SoC, but the good part is you get 8GB RAM & 128GB storage(2GB more RAM). You get realme UI 2.0 & it also has an in-display fingerprint scanner. So if you look at all this at its price, Rs 25,999. You can get it under Rs 25K as its camera setup is good with 64MP+8MP+2MP on the rear & 32MP on the front. Generally the realme phones’ camera colours & dynamic range are good!
So overall, looking at all features & price, the realme GT Master Edition in my list comes at #3.
#2 iQOO Z5
It’s price is good at Rs 23,900 for the 8GB+128GB variant. You get it for Rs 24K & it’s effective price comes down around Rs 21-22K. And according to that, it’s definitely at #2.
Because it has a Qualcomm SD778 SoC, a 6.67” FHD+ screen with 120Hz fast refresh rate, that’s good!
I’ve seen & tested it as I’ve already unboxed it. I liked the display on this phone. It has a 5000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. It’s got a 64MP+8MP+2MP triple camera setup.
On the front, there’s a 16MP camera & it has a side mounted fingerprint sensor, which is a downside. An in-display sensor would’ve been great! But it’s price is less so according to that, I’d say it’s at #2!
Friends, all these phones have been launched but there’s a phone that was launched way before all of these and that according to me was launched 4-5 months ago, but still according to me is great camera phone under 25000.
#1 realme X7 Max 5G
It’s above all! Because it gives the performance & that’s because of the Dimensity 1200!
It’s AnTuTu score is above 6L! All other phones score around 4.9-5.5L but this is at 6L because of Dimensity 1200.
It has a 6.43″ FHD+ display with 120Hz fast refresh rate, a 4500mAh battery with 50W fast charging.
It has an in-display fingerprint sensor! So if you look at all other things, the display, the performance, the in-display fingerprint sensor,
the fast charging, everything is top of the line! And its price is Rs 26,999.
You can definitely get it only for about Rs 25-26K! And we included because at this price, this is definitely the most value-for-money phone!
Yes, the realme X7 Max 5G in my list is at #1!
In fact, in my “Top 5 Best phones Under Rs 25000″, I haven’t ranked the top 3 phones(OnePlus Nord 2, POCO F3 GT & realme X7 Max 5G).As they have their advantages & disadvantages. And so I thought of bringing their full reviews. Today I’m doing the realme X7 Max 5G’s full review. We’ve used it a lot in detail for 15 days as our daily driver.
The realme X7 Max was the 1st to launch with Dimensity 1200 SoC & as I’ve used it,
I’ve started to like it. There are a lot of good things & being a new SoC there are some problems, but I haven’t seen it with Dimensity 1200. You’ll know about it in the video further, especially related to performance.
As said earlier, the realme phones feel good in the hand & the realme X7 Max is no different. It’s good to hold in your hand & it won’t feel slippery. It’s not that heavy & will feel light in your pockets too. So overall, a thumbs up to the in hand feel.
It has a 6.43” FHD+ sAMOLED display & the colours look good! I’ve already said it during the unboxing and even after the 15-20 day use, I like the display. It’s bright & you’ll be able to see even in sunlight. Yes, you might have a problem under very harsh sunlight, but overall the colours & contrast is good and being 6.43” it is manageable, the display is not too big nor too small. It’s just the right size.
With the in hand feel, it has a dual tone plastic back(polycarbonate), which looks unique & different. And it’s not glass.
During day-to-day use, you know the difference by using the 120Hz fast refresh rate. We used the phone on 120Hz refresh rate & still the 4500mAh battery can get you through the day easily. The Screen On Time(SOT) was 5-6 hours on 120Hz & you might easily get 6-7 hours on 60/90Hz. So overall, a big thumbs up on the battery life. It’ll easily last you through a day but not 1.5-2 days. They’ve provided a 65W charger but the phone supports 50W fast charging that gets to 100% around 40 minutes. And I think it’s good & fast enough! So the battery & its fast charging is good.
We had our primary sim in the phone & for connectivity, you get WiFi 6, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi Calling Support, etc.
Everything related to connectivity is there, the WiFi speed & mobile network connectivity had no problems.
I don’t know whether carrier aggregation is happening or not so no comments there as I didn’t see any “4G+” sign, but I never had any problems with lower connectivity too. There were no call drops, voice cuts etc. I didn’t face any of it & that’s impressive.
Again, I think there’s some issue with Dimensity 1200’s carrier aggregation, but I didn’t face any problems. In connectivity, you also get NFC support, which is an extra!
And I see it as future proof phone as it has 7 bands support & majority of bands are covered but we’ll have to wait for it. One thing definitely stood out for me, the haptic feedback engine is impressive & you get a Rs 70K flagship level haptic feedback.
This phone price starts at Rs 26,999 for the base variant & with that it gives a flagship level haptic feedback. You get a triple camera setup, with a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor.
Whether you’re gaming, using heavy apps, multitasking etc, the performance is absolutely flawless. The on paper score is above 6.8L, which is very good! In gaming performance, with Ultra-HDR settings, you’ll get 40-50FPS of gameplay, which is quite smooth. In reality, it won’t consistently go up to 90FPS but again the biggest highlight is the phone’s performance. If you’re having long(1-1.5 hours) gaming sessions with high settings, then it’ll get warm.
But nothing to worry about. So thermals are pretty decent and with the update(500-600MB), there are a lot of differences, the performance is smoother and another feature was added, Virtual RAM expansion. You can virtually expand the RAM up to 7GB!
It’s not like the real RAM, but the feature is available. And you can feel the performance difference! So that was a good update, usually the phones have problems but not with this one.
It has realmeUI 2.0 based on Android 11 with the latest security patch update. And I’m sure, you’ll get the major OS updates for the next 2 years. So no problems with UI at all.
There’s 1 problem, you get internal browser notifications, which is irritating at times. But you can toggle it off. By default, they are turned on which you’ll have to turn off manually.
Finally, what’s my review?
This is a performance power-house! When I unboxed the realme X7 Max, I knew that Dimensity 1200 would perform well but, in terms of performance, it exceeded my expectations. The camera is better than average.
Final Words
That’s everything for the best camera phones under 25000. Now you guys tell me, did you feel the ranking was correct? If you think it should’ve been different then do let us know with reasons! So that I’ll come to know too!
That’s all for this post, until the next one, Keep Trakin & Stay Safe!
